1991 Biuro Promocji Technicznej VARIANT founded. The company starts importing and distributing products of Europe’s biggest producer of coupling systems – the German  company NORMA Rasmussen GmbH.

1994 BPT VARIANT transforms into the Joint Stock Company VARIANT.

1994 Start of own production.

1995 Distribution of car cosmetics and automotive chemical products started to complement the company’s existing offer.

2001 Offer broadening through the incorporation of own automotive product brands – car cosmetics, automotive chemical products and adhesives.

2002 VARIANT S.A. is being honoured for the first time by the editorial directors of the periodical Puls Biznesu in the ranking of Business Gazelle 2002. The company will be applauded for its credibility and sales dynamics in the years to come.

2003 Implementation of a Quality Management System concluded with the bestowment of the ISO 9001:2000 certificate.

2005 A pivotal moment in the company’s history. In July of that year VARIANT S.A. makes its debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange carrying out an emission of shares worth 13 million zł.

2005 The company’s awards cabinet keeps growing. Besides successive “Business Gazelle” titles VARIANT S.A. is also awarded with the CONSUMER’S LAURELS in the category of Car Cosmetics. It will be honoured with the same award a year later as well.

2006 The company broadens its offer introducing two new product groups: VARIANT SERVICE – consisting of car shop service equipment and VARIANT ACCESSORIES – a very extensive offer of car accessories.

2006 The company’s LOGISTICS AND PRODUCTION CENTER in Trzebinia erected.

2007 Takeover of the distribution network of ABA Group products in Poland. VARIANT becomes the undisputed leader in the sale of metal clamps and fastenings.

2008 Car windshield sale started - VARIANT AUTO GLASS DISTRIBUTION.

2008 Commencement of the construction of a used oil re-refining production line in Trzebinia. Predicted production start – the 3rd quarter of 2008.
